Stainless Steel Fittings in Homes

Any household has, in some shape or form, stainless steel fittings in their kitchen, bathroom and heating network. The reasons that explain the use of stainless steel rather than other types of metal are first and foremost resistance to moisture and secondly unrivalled durability when faced with repeated, daily use. The reliability of the fitting makes it the component of choice for many construction companies and builders throughout the developed world.

The manufacturing process melts the stainless steel into an extremely malleable form and consequently facilitates moulding it into desired shapes, explaining its use for small sized components. When coupled with steel piping, fittings can provide a comprehensive system for the transportation of water, fresh and used, in and out of a home. The same applies to gas should a home not be exclusively dependent on electricity. Beyond these functional uses, stainless steel fittings are recyclable; they can easily be disassembled, melted, and reshaped into other steel components.
